Here is some helpful information about the brand and material used to make our track.

• We cannot guarantee every stick of track will be made with Mastic Aluminum Gutter Coil.  If we experience aluminum shortages, we will try to acquire metal wherever possible.
• Currently, we do not pass along the warranty outlined in the video.

Ply Gem manufactures the Products in accordance with high standards and tight quality controls, and the Products will not rust, burn or support combustion, or split or crack due to cold weather because they are made of aluminum.

Direct contact of aluminum products with certain dissimilar materials, or contact with water run-off from dissimilar materials, is likely to result in corrosion. Accordingly, care should be taken during installation to avoid contact of aluminum with dissimilar materials including: dissimilar metals (e.g. copper, zinc, steel, etc.), concrete, stucco, asbestos siding, pressure treated/pretreated lumber, roofing materials or roofing systems containing metallic granules or strips, or corrosive non-metallic materials.

The Mastic Gutter Coil comes to us in a roll, exactly like it appears in the video above.   We take the metal then split it, fold it, and punch it.   Everywhere there is a cut or a punch there is a point of vulnerability where the coating will not prevent corrosion.
