The standard clip is used for securing standard track, typically with eaves that have an aluminum facia or when the bottom of the soffit is flush with the bottom edge of the facia board. Designed with wings on each side, the standard clip can be secure with the front wing clipped into the lip of the aluminum facia and a zip screw through the back wing, or zip screw can be used in both wings when securing to a flat surface.
